“I’m currently working on a series of paintings focused on water - each is a careful, deliberate study similar in process to how I approach portraits, with an emphasis on proportionality and interconnectedness of lines. In exploring variations on this theme, I’m interested in achieving both realism and abstraction. Some are done as pairs of images captured moments apart, like a diptych in time rather than space. I’m also interested in new reproduction capabilities and scalability for my work.”

“In addition to the ongoing series of water paintings, I’ve also begun working on a new series called Timberline, inspired by the rugged beauty at the top of Maine’s beloved Sugarloaf Mountain. I also continue to develop a larger body of work that includes portraits, landscapes and plein air studies.

I am a painter at heart and feel a little lost if too much time passes without a session. I’m grateful to live in such an exciting time and beautiful part of the world, and to work in a thriving community of friends, family, artists and enthusiasts. I’m open to discuss commissions and limited reproductions of my work.”
